Baltimore left tackle Jared Gaither appeared to suffer a serious injury during the ravens loss to the New England Patriots. The Jared Gaither injury occurred in a collision in the backfield midway through the second quarter. As Jared Gaither blocked Pats defensive end Jarvis Green. defensive end Ty Warren pushed Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco into Gaither's back.

Flacco was unharmed in the collision, but Jared Gaither stayed stretched out on the field for approximately 10 minutes. Medical staff strapped Gaither to a board and carted him off the field. He was sent to Massachusetts General Hospital for tests on his neck and shoulder.

It's been reported that Jared Geither has movement in both his arms and legs.
