Sacramento Kings forward Jason Thompson was the victim of a prank pulled by his teammates and the whole thing was caught on video. Rookies like Thompson are often the victims of pranks during the first season in the league and Thompson was no different. In his case, teammates decided to fill car full of popcorn.

In the NBA, rookies often undergo mild hazing by teammates. Part of their initiation involves doing small chores for teammates like carrying their luggage. In Thompson's case, his job was to bring bagels and cream cheese to every team practice. After Thompson kept forgetting to bring anything to practice, several Kings players, including Brad Miller and Spencer Hawes-- reminded him of his rookie duties by filling his car with popcorn.

No doubt, Thompson will be sure to bring bagels to practice for the foreseeable future, not to mention a Dustbuster to help clean out of the bits of popcorn that will be rolling around the interior of his car for the weeks to come.

The stunt, while amusing, is hardly original. in 2006, NBA guard Jason Richardson pulled a similar popcorn prank on teammate Patrick O'Bryant.
