Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher ripped into a Nashville TV station over its coverage of a former Titan David Givens' lawsuit against the team. Givens is suing the Titans for a $25 million, saying that the team failed to disclose important medical information to him about his injured knee.

What really upset Jeff Fisher was that WTVF Channel 5 aired an old Jeff Fisher soundbite from training camp and made it seem as if it was a recent interview.

"I was really taken aback at the lack of professionalism in this type of reporting," Fisher said. "I did an interview at training camp, a general interview and then the perception was I was questioned very recently about this. And the last question in this unusual interview was regarding David Givens. It's very, very unprofessional. I'm disappointed for the industry, to be quite honest with you."

WTVF broke the David Givens lawsuit story Tuesday night and used the Jeff Fisher interview as if it was an exclusive scoop.

The story also featured an interview with David Givens attorney Dan Warlick. Jeff Fisher suggested that there may be a connection between WTVF's exclusive story and Dan Warlick.

"Never in my career have I ever been associated with a more deceitful, unprofessional report than I witnessed last night," Fisher said after practice Wednesday. "The organization is looking into the possibility that there may be a connection between the reporter and the attorney and that's all I can say."

WTVF did not send a reporter to Titans practice on Wednesday.
