Uniersity of Oregon football players Jeremiah Masoli and Garrett Embry were named in a police report filed for two laptops and a guitar. stolen from a fraternity house. The case has been assigned to the property crimes division of the Eugine police department. Jeremiah Masoli is the Oregon Ducks' star player, so to see him attached to a theft at a frat house is somewhat strange.

Meanwhile Ducks coach Chip Kelly has said that no comment would be forthcoming unless there was more substantiation linking Jeremiah Masoli and Garrett Embry to the crime beyond just the police report.

The witness, Max Wolfard. said that he recognized Jeremiah Masoli instantly, having seen him on TV all the time.
