Jets and Pats Rumble in Main Event 2 "The Crazer at the Razor"
Dunkadelic Sports Marketing is making good work of being the "Don King of the NFL" when it comes to promoting title names for big games. The company decided that the New York Jets and the New England Patriots were NFL heavyweights just as big as the Ravens and Steelers and they needed a title name for their toe-to-toe heavyweight showdown on Sunday afternoon.
"The Crazer at the Razor" is the title name of the last of four divisional weekend playoff games to be played on Sunday at 4:30 pm.
The Jets and Patriots both have passionate fans that get into a "crazy frenzy" for their teams. New England plays at Gillette Stadium the company that makes shaving (razors) products for men.
Their rivalry isn't to the level of Baltimore and Pittsburgh, but it continues to grow in leaps and bounds after each game they play.
The Jets are led by Rex Ryan the charismatic head coach who likes to make predictions for his team. Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie at the beginning of the season claimed that the Jets were the "Miami Heat of the NFL."
There is no lack of confidence by the Jets who understand to be the man you must beat the man.
New England star quarterback Tom Brady isn't shy to let his feelings be known how he feels about the Jets. There is no love lost in this bitter rivalry.
These two teams are facing each other for the 3rd time this season just like Baltimore and Pittsburgh. This is their rubber-match and it will be very intense and physical.
Five weeks ago on Monday Night Football the day after Pittsburgh TKO'd the Ravens 13-10 on a late 4th quarter sack and fumble by Troy Polamalu on Joe Flacco. New England looked like Ali and the Jets looked like Chuck Wepner when the Pats destroyed the Jets 45-3 at home in the same stadium that will be the ring for "The Crazer at the Razor."
"There will be some hard hittin' and blitzin' as the fans get Crazier when the Jets and Pats get it on at the Razor"
The AFC divisional playoff games are head-and-shoulders above the NFC.
The Ravens and Pittsburgh lead-off the four game schedule with "The Thrilla-N-Pittsila" and the Jets and Patriots close the four game slate with "The Crazer at the Razor." All is needed now is for Michael Buffer to work both games on Saturday and Sunday. I can hear him say his famous catch-phrase "Lets Get Ready to Rumble."
