NFL legend Jim Brown pulled no punches during an interview on HBO’s Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel. And he's not afraid to go after big targets either. In fact, Jim Brown rips Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan, two of the biggest stars in the world.

Brown blasted Woods and Jordan for lacking a social conscience.

"This cat is a mamajama; he is a killer. He'll run over you, he'll kick your ass. But as an individual for social change or any of that kind of -- , terrible. Terrible.''

After an amazing but relatively brief career with the Cleveland Browns, Jim Brown became a civil rights activist. He also spent years working to curb gang violence in inner cities (In addition to fighting for civil rights in the 60s, Brown should also be commended for still referring to people as "cats" and "mamajamas")

Not surprisingly, Brown isn't too impressed with Woods and Jordan's lack of social activism. Both Woods and Jordan are mini-corporations who want to avoid getting involved in sticky social issues that could hurt their brand.

Of course, it could be argued that it's unfair for Brown to specifically target Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan, presumably because they are African-American. After all, most modern athletes, whatever their background, lack the social conscience of athletes like Jim Brown and Bill Russell because it could hurt their bottom line.

Thank God somebody with some credentials has finally called out TIGER WOODS.

Jim Brown is an inspiration to all of us. His work with the inner-city is nothing less than Saintly. He is an Activist and sets a great example to all athletes everywhere how they can use their work to improve the lives of others who are positioned at a disadvantage.

Tiger on the other hand has been way too passive with his massive amount of power and influence.  He has underutilzed his position.

Ask not whom the bell tolls for.....Tiger....The Bell tolls for THEE.

I agree with Jim Brown.  Tiger you are a minority and it's time you start looking out for these underprivileged kids.  Kids that live in Anaheim are not underprivileged.  Their parents did not have to drive in the back of the bus or be lynched or face signs like "white only', your father did, that today you can be who you are.  Your father worked hard for you so don't be afraid to speak up for injustice.
