Jim Nantz Made an Unintentional Reference to Tiger Woods Scoring a 69 at the Masters 2010. Bill Simmons and Plenty of Other Golf Couldn't Help But Chuckle. Here's the Video

The calm soothing style of Jim Nantz is the perfect match for the Masters tournament. But for many sophomoric fans, Jim Nantz was good for a laugh as he discussed Tiger Woods play at the end of the 2010 Masters.

As Tiger Wood wrapped up his fourth-place finish at the 2010 Masters, Jim Nantz noted Tiger Woods' score for the day, a number that has a few other connotations. Nantz pointed out that under all the scrutiny on the final day of the Masters, Tiger "managed a 69 out of all of this."

Teenage boys around the world rejoiced at the Jim Nantz 69 comment. ESPN's Bill Simmons brought it to the world's attention via Twitter:

'Jim Nantz saying Tiger "managed a 69 through all of this" is my favorite sports moment of 2010 hands down.'

In a way, a Tiger Woods 69 comment was inevitable since many golfers shoot in that range on any given day. Woods shot a 68, 70, and 70 during the first three days of the 2010 Masters.

Plenty of people were ready to make Tiger Woods 69 jokes at the end of day. The fact that the always cool and collected Jim Nantz make a Tiger Woods 69 reference is funnier than anything most comedians could come up with.

If Jim Nantz-Tiger Woods remark were to be a Simmons Unintentional Comedy Rating, it would no doubt be given a score of 69.

Here is the Jim Nantz-Tiger Woods 69 Video.

Commence giggling like schoolboys.
