Jim Rome-David Stern NBA Draft Conspiracy Audio: June 13, 2012
Jim Rome and David Stern Had a Rough Interview About NBA Draft Conspiracy Theories on June 13, 2012. Here is Audio
It was a rough day in the Jungle as Jim Rome and David Stern had a testy exchange on Wednesday. During the June 13, 2012 edition of Jim Rome's radio show, Rome asked the NBA Commissioner about the long-rumored NBA Draft conspiracy theories.
For years, there have been rumors that the NBA somehow rigged the 1985 NBA Draft. Similar rumors have popped up after several NBA drafts, including the 2012 draft that saw the NBA-owned New Orleans Hornets win the top pick, which will likely be used to select star prospect Anthony Davis.
When Rome asked about the Draft Lottery conspiracies, Stern got testy, asking Rome a similarly leading question: "Have you stopped beating your wife yet?"
