Jimmy Clausen Punched in the Face by Fan
Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen was punched in the face by an angry fan outside CJ's Pub in South Bend, Indiana. Jimmy Clausen was having dinner with his parents and was attacked as they were leaving CJ's. Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis had no comment on the incident, but apparently Jimmy Clausen only suffered a black eye. Meanwhile Charlie Weis is looking at the black eye that his team is getting as their season slips away.
The fan was apparently angry that Notre Dame had just lost to Conneticut in double overtime.
The newspaper also reported that the name of the bar was CJ's and that a bartender at the establishment said that Clausen had been there with family members and other Irish upperclassmen after Notre Dame's loss to Connecticut on Senior Day.
