Joel Monaghan: Dog Oral Sex Photo Scandal
Joel Monaghan Faces Sack After Simulated Dog Sex Act Photo Hits Twitter
Canberra Raiders star Joel Monaghan could see his career in ruins after photos from a Mad Monday prank hit the web. Joel Monaghan simulated a sex act with a teammate's dog, and photos of the act were spread via Twitter.
At first, it was alleged that Joel Monaghan was the victim of the prank, but the National Ruby League (NRL) player admitted responsibility for it through his representative: "Joel wants to make it clear that he was the one playing a prank on an absent team mate by simulating the act. [...] It was a moment of abject stupidity brought about by too much drink and a complete lack of any thought process. "
"Fake Wyatt Roy" Spreads Joel Monaghan Dog Photo
While the photos have been circulating for a while, they spread to Twitter via a fake Wyatt Roy Twitter account (Wyatt Roy is a 20-year-old MP from Queensland). The original Joel Monaghan dog photo was deleted from Twitter, but it's too late now: it's all over the web.
Initially, it was suggested to the Herald that Monaghan was the victim of a prank by teammates after passing out while drunk but he later accepted full responsibility for his action in the statement issued through Banaghan. ''Joel can't blame anyone but himself for an act of stupidity that will haunt him for the rest of his life,''
One way or another, Joel Monaghan will face sanctions for his actions. National Rugby League will give Canberra the opportunity to respond first, but disciplinary action, which could include Monaghan getting fired, is definitely forthcoming.
Neither the teammate nor the dog were identified.

What may have stayed a sworn secret amongst intoxicated team mates suddenly became a world wide sensation the minute one of Johnny’s team mates took a picture of him letting one poor pooch go one place no animal should ever have to go to and uploading the mobile image to his twitter account and twitting the image ad infinitum. scallywagandvagabond.com/2010/11/joel-monaghan-wants-to-tell-you-how-he-managed-to-get-a-dog-to-service-him/

During an interview the canine, who wished to remain anonymous, described the encounter as "mostly disappointing." When asked to elaborate, the canine explained he had been humping the man's leg for months prior to this weekend's encounter and once he finally had his prize, "I wasn't sure what to make of it," he said. "Maybe I had my hopes set too high. It looked like it belonged on a pug, not a renown ruby star."Mr. Monaghan was unavailable for comment, though his spokesman admitted his client "wasn't the most well-endowed man in the world, but what of it? [The canine] consented and after the repeated sexual advances on his part, I would think [he] would have shown a little more understanding." Monaghan's spokesman added, "Not everyone is hung like a Great Dane."
