John Calipari-Terrence Jones Video: Kentucky Coach Rips Player
Did John Calipari Go To Far By Yelling at Kentucky Player Terrrence Jones. Here is the John Calipari-Terrence Jones Video
During Kentucky's 68-66 loss to Alabama on Tuesday, January 19, 2011, Wildcats coach John Calipari yelled at guard Terrence Jones and you didn't need to be a lip-reader to figure out he was upset.
The John Calipari-Terrence Jones video shows the coach calling his player a “selfish motherf---er.” During a timeout with a little over two minutes left in the game, Kentucky blew a chance to tie the game. During a break in play, Calipari got into Jones' face and screamed at him. Calipari appeared to have called Jones "a selfish motherf---er."
Kentucky fans took to message boards to express their displeasure at the John Calipari-Terrence Jones incident.
Calipari ended up apologizing via Twitter.
"First of all I want to apologize for my language at the end of the game. I got caught up in the emotion of the game, but that's no excuse."
"Sometimes you don't realize in the moment that what you're saying is on national TV. The BBN deserves better and so do my players."
"I'm proud of the way our guys fought back but we can't dig a hole like that against a quality SEC opponent."

The guy is a freshman and was doing his best, I thought I was watching Bobby knight there for a minute. Come coach my mom and grandma was watching that game. You stepped out of my comfort zone by going into that young man like that.
