John Cena Told a Live WWE Crowd That Osama bin Laden is Dead. Here is the Video
This may sound weird, but there are likely thousands of people in the world who heard about the death of Osama bin Laden from professional wrestler John Cena.
During a May 1, 2011 WWE live show, John Cena came out and told the crowd the news that Osama bin Laden had been killed by US forces. A shirtless John Cena stood on a table and talked about his loved for the men and women of the US military.
He then announced that they had killed Osama bin Laden and the crowd goes crazy, chanting "USA! USA!" as Cena holds his championship belt.
Deadspin referred to the John Cena Osama bin Laden video as the "Most American Video Ever."

So surreal. If this were the first contact I had with the bin Laden death story, I wouldn't believe it to be true.
(That said, lots of conspiracy theorists would say the same about the White House announcement.)
