Sir Alex has been raving about how Hackett has allowed John Terry's card to be overturned. Manchester United doesn't get that kind of favour, he said, probabble wondering why Vidic's ban could be upheld while John Terry's isn't.

Firstly, I think Manchester United has been favoured be the FA for so long. The evidence of this is that the latest Ferguson tirade won't be punished - other managers can't even dare murmur against the head of referee association talkless of telling him is not doing his job (which Alex Ferguson did last season after Portsmouth knocked Man U out of the FA Cup - he got away with that statment, anyway).

John Terry is the England captain and I would have been surprised if the red card wasn't overturned. English players practically get away with anything these days - it's their country, isn't it. Alex should shut up and live with it. That is the way the system goes nowadays.

Yommie, I like this story. It's good stuff. I agree, Ferguson and Man U have got away with stuff for years, they are totally favoured by the FA (and refs).
