NASCAR truck champion Johnny Benson is in serious but stable condition after a fiery crash during a race at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan 

Benson was starting his second lap of the SuperModified race. when he crashed into another car, smashed into a wall and burst into flames.

Benson is reportedly in hospital suffering from burns and broken ribs.
