Jon Beason Arrested For Gregory C. Frye Strip Club Attack

Carolina Panthers linebacker Jon Beason was arrested Monday for aggravated assault. The Jon Beason arrest stems from a Nov. 15 incident at the Uptown Cabaret strip club.

During the incident, Jon Beason reportedly punched a man in the face. Beason's alleged accuser, Gregory C. Frye, allegedly suffered injuries to his eye and nose. The injuries may require surgery.

Jon Beason's attorney, George Laughrun told the Charlotte Observer that Gregory C. Frye got a warrant even though a police investigation has yet to be completed.

The Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office says Beason was released from custody on a written promise to appear in court.

I admit to being biased but I find it increadibly hard to believe that Jon Beason hit Greg Frye UNPROVOKED. I'm curious to hear what the player who was there with Greg heard and saw. I have also heard that Greg was ARRESTED before for agressive driving so he might have an anger problem. The times I have talked to Jon, he seems to be a level headed and nice guy......also a class act teamwise. Maybe the guy want his 15 minutes and is looking for deep pockets. I do KNOW that to make an ass hole, just add alcohol! That probably has SOMETHING to do with the whole situation!

This Frye character lives in the Lake Norman area. Let's just say he's a well known barfly (drunk) and likes the powder. His credibility is zero.

I have ran into Greg Frye several times while enjoying the party scene at Lake Norman. Greg is a really strange person. He tried to hit on my girlfriend several times, right in front of me! So I dont think he is someone who really has a problem with doing wrong to others. I dont think the guy is exactly too sure about his sexuality either. I'm a 31 year old male, and Greg Frye attempted to french kiss me on TWO OCCASIONS! The guy can't take a hint I guess. I dont know how believable his innocense is in this whole story either.

I know Greg personally, I can promise to you ALL he is absolutely pathetic. He is a liar, he is a thief, he is a rapist! He can NOT be trusted nor should he be remotely taken serious. Don't let this guy fool you, he is 100% a con artist. Ill see you in court Greg Frye, we ALL will! PS: Might want to turn in your FAKE NFL Card that you have used on countless nights out. ohh yeah... we have witnesses. And they'll be in court as well. Your going down buddy!

It is a well know fact that this Greg Frye guy goes to other cities and has a fake NFL players card that he uses to get in VIP's. This guy goes as far to wrap a band around his ankle and tell people that he is on injured reserve. This guy is definitely a con artist and a big time liar. Also, not sure about the lady that he sued for assault but he did cause his girlfriend a couple of years ago to get a broken nose because they were at a young lady's house and she caught him stealing and assumed his girlfriend at the time was stealing as well. This guy has a serious personality disorder and to me is borderline dangerous especially with females after they have been drinking.

This guy is a scumbag and a dangerous con artist and has been fired for insurance fraud, identity theft and other things.....the police need to be digging into his past! I feel bad for Beason - he is the victim here....I hope Greg Frye gets what he deserves!
