Jonathan Toews was involved in a car crash on Thursday, February 23, 2012.

According to reports, Toews’ black Mercedes Benz hit a support beam for the city's elevated train line. The Chicago Blackhawks star was reportedly sent away in an ambulance, although he didn't appear to be seriously injured.

Toews has missed the last Blackhawks games with a concussion. No word yet as to whether injuries sustained in the car crash could cause him to miss more time.
