Josh Hamilton May Have Suffered a Relapse After Being Spotted at a Texas Bar on January 30, 2012

Sad news: Reports out of Texas suggest that baseball star Josh Hamilton, who has struggled with drugs and alcohol, may have suffered a relapse.

A reporter from the Dallas Morning wrote an extensive blog post that states Josh Hamilton may have been drinking in a local bar on Monday, January 30, 3011.

The article includes a statement from the Texas Rangers, which says they are "aware of a situation, but we don't have further comment at this time.''

If true, this could be the second Josh Hamilton relapse in three years.

The Texas Rangers slugger has been sober since 2005, but suffered a relapse after a night of drinking in Tempe, Arizona back in 2009.  Photos from Josh Hamilton's 2009 relapse made their way onto Deadspin.

Shortly after the 2009 incident, Hamilton entered counseling.
