Kobe Bryant Mask Photo 2012: Breaks Nose at 2012 All Star Game
Kobe Bryant Has Been Wearing a Mask After Dwyane Wade Accidentally Broke His Nose at the 2012 NBA All-Star Game. Here is a Photo
When you watch the Los Angeles Lakers-Miami Heat game on Sunday, March 4, 2012, you may wonder why Kobe Bryant is wearing a mask. In case you missed it, Bryant was injured during the 2012 NBA All-Star Game when Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade tried to snag a rebound and hit Bryant in the face.
Bryant suffered a broken nose and is using a clear plastic mask during games. Black Mamba may be looking for a measure of revenge against Wade when the Lakers and Heat meet this Sunday.
Bryant is hardly the first player to wear a plastic mask during games. Bill Laimbeer famously wore one. Richard Hamilton wore a mask after breaking his nose during the 2003-2004. Doctors advised him to keep wearing the mask for the rest of his playing days.
