Korie Lucious Has Been Arrested For Drinking and Driving in East Lansing

Korie Lucious, who is only 20-years-old, was pulled over at around 2:20am on Monday morning on Charles Street near Linden Street and registered an alcohol limit of .09 according to The Detroit News.

Michigan's legal level is .08.

He now has 10 days to appear in court before Judge David L. Jordon.

“We’re aware a ticket was issued and we are still gathering information,” coach Tom Izzo said in a statement Tuesday afternoon.

The Detroit Free Press reports that Korie Lucious was issued a misdemeanor 'operating while intoxicated' ticket.

The police would not comment further on the case, but this comes just one month after Chris Allen was dismissed from the basketball team after he failed to meet coach Tom Izzo's requirements to play.
