Kristen Saban: Nick Saban's Daughter Sued over Sorority Fight
Kristen Saban Sued by Phi Mu Sorority Sister Sarah Grimes
Kristen Saban, daughter of Alabama football coach Nick Saban, is getting sued over a sorority fight that allegedly occurred in 2012.
The lawsuit filed by Sarah Grimes, who was in the Phi Mu sorority along with Kristen Saban at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. According to the lawsuit, Sarah Grimes and Kristen Saban were playing a drinking game called Power Hour (wherein you drink every time the song on the stereo changes).
After visiting a local bar, the girls came back to the sorority house, where they got into an argument over the boy that Saban was dating. Kristen Saban then posted a disparaging remark to Sarah Grimes' Facebook page ("No one likes Sarah! Yayyyyy!"). Grimes was furious, demanding that Saban remove the comment immediately.
After another argument, Kristen Saban allegedly attacked Sarah Grimes, and it took several other girls to break up the fight.
Kristen Saban is no longer in Phi Mu.
From the lawsuit:
31. Kristen immediately used both of her hands and shoved Sarah into the corner of Courtney's open door, slamming Sarah's head.
32. Sarah defended herself by pushing Kristen into the opposite wall, saying "Don't touch me."
32. Kristen proceeded to punch Sarah Grimes multiple times in her head and nose, and to pull Sarah's hair, even though Kristen knew that Sarah had really bad migraines from a prior head injury from an automobile accident.
33. By this time Meghan, who was outside in the parking lot, heard the yelling and ran upstairs.
34. Sarah screamed "I'm calling the cops!"
Friends took Grimes to the emergency room at DCH Regional Medical Center, which is adjacent to the university campus. There, both city and university police and the university’s dean of students showed up in response to an assault call.
Sarah Grimes declined to fill out a police report at the time, but her lawyer argues that Grimes has suffered intense migraines and psychological trauma after the incident. Kristen Saban's lawyer is trying to get the lawsuit dismissed.

How silly. Sarah, grow up! If you don't instigate a fight, you will not get one. I cannot believe this is college girls. But it's the reaction that gets the most attention. Right? So you need more publicity and college funds, Sarah? Why don't you just move on!!!!!!

Your comments are completely biased, as stated by the name you chose for yourself. You're only defending Kristen Saban because of your loyalty to Alabama football. Besides, college girls act like this ALL. THE. TIME. This is nothing new, and will continue to be nothing new. Sarah may not need additional college funds or want the publicity (you seemed to skip over the part that she did not want to file a police report, etc. because those things didn't support your biased opinion), so it is unfair of you to accuse her of such. They were BOTH in the wrong! It is NEVER okay to PHYSICALLY ATTACK someone! Go back and read this article again. Kristen was the one who began the PHYSICAL attacks -- which she had no right to do, regardless of what someone may have been saying. You need to mature in your viewpoint. Your love of Alabama football has nothing to do with whether or not the coach's daughter is in the right or wrong. They were both wrong, so stop pretending your idol's daughter did NOTHING and was "provoked".

Also, if you have all these medical conditions, why in the world are you drinking? I think both girls should be kicked out of phi mu. It was a mutal drunk night that led to bad feelings between the 2 girls. I just wonder what was said to provoke Kristen! These girls are always so innocent. They mouth off then when someone gets angry they cry. Just Don't mouth off especially when you have medical problems. You are an adult. If you instigate it You own it!!!!

As stated before, go back and read the article. She did not PREVIOUSLY have these medical conditions before the fight; it says "SINCE the incident". Please learn to read before stating sharing your ignorance. Even if Sarah did say something disrespectful, like I have already said, OWNING what you said does not mean you take a beating; it means you work it out like adults, not allow someone to hit you because you spoke ill of them. Since you're speaking so ill of Sarah, under your logic, I assume it's alright if she comes and beats you up for it?

They should both be kicked out of Phi Mu with steel toed boots! We're they both 21 or older? Even if they were of legal age, they were clearly drinking excessively. Shabby behavior! As a Phi Mu alum, I'm embarrassed. The chapter they belong to should act quickly and remove them.
