The Los Angeles Lakers are the defending 2009 NBA Champions and with the addition of Ron Artest are the favorites to win it again for the 2009-10 season. The four core star players Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, and Ron Artest will be given a new signature nickname on October 30, 2009. October 30th is also the 35th Anniversary of the historical Ali-Forman "Rumble In the Jungle". Ali became only the second Heavyweight Champion (Floyd Patterson-1960) in history to reclaim the undisputed title when he defeated Forman in Zaire, Africa 10/30/74.

Here is the Lakers Nickname Rhyme that will introduce the signature nickname for Kobe, Pau, Lamar, & Ron Artest.

The Lakers we are the defending NBA Champions and we've got something new for this season. We started with Kobe and Lamar, then we added Pau, now we've got Ron on our crew to make the whole world say WOW!, can we win 72, 73, 74, man I got a new nickname for the Hollywood Fearsome 4.
