Who will step in game 7 of the NBA finals between the Lakers and the Celtics?  It is not a question of Kobe Bryant and Paul Pierce stepping up, that is expected. It is the unknown element, like the Celtics bench in game 4.

The Celtics have won two games in a row in this series now the Lakers have an opportunity to do the same. What every one has been talking about is how game 7 is opportunity for the Lakers to cement their reputation as the best time of their era. Two NBA titles in  a row is a rare feat.

However, the stakes are high for the Celtics beyond the obvious matter of pride and desire. Indeed, the claim can be that the Celtics by winning game 7 are the best of their era.

They won in 2008 in convincing style, despite the absence of star Kevin Garnett they went deep into playoffs in 2009. If Garnett was healthy who know if they would have met the Lakers in the Finals.  And now they have the opportunity to win again in 2010.

Either way Lakers vs Celtics, Game 7 - Epic.
