Lance Armstrong Crashed With Levi Leipheimer and Three Others During Stage 5 of AMGEN Tour of California

As confirmed by the AMGEN Twitter account, Lance Armstrong crashed in stage 5 of the AMGEN Tour of California and is currently on route to the hospital.

Sorry to report there was a huge crash, with Chechu and Lance involved. Lance had to abandon and is going to the hospital for Xrays.

The cyclists have were entering Stage 5 between Visalia to Bakersfield when they somehow crashed together and although AMGEN tweeted this picture of Lance Armstrong after the crash, the crash was serious enough to pull him out of the race and he is going to a nearby hospital for x-rays.

This story comes just hours after Floyd Landis admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs and then accusing Lance Armstrong of doing the same.

Armstrong did address the media about the allegations earlier saying:

"If you said, 'Give me one word to sum this all up,' credibility," the seven-time Tour de France winner said. "Floyd lost his credibility a long time ago."

"We have nothing to hide. We have nothing to run from," he added.
