Lawrence Taylor, LT, Has Been Indicted on Charges of Rape, Criminal Sexual Acts and Sexual Abuse

Lawrence Taylor, former New York Giants player and Dancing With the Stars contestant, was arrested on May 6 2010 for the alleged rape of a 16-year-old female prostitute. He was arrested at the Holiday Inn off Airmont Road in Rockland and was later charged with third-degree rape along with the girl's pimp Rasheed Davis who was also arrested.

On Wednesday June 23 Lawrence Taylor was indicted on rape charges, sexual abuse charges and charges of endangering the welfare of a child and patronizing a prostitute as reported by ABC News. If Taylor is convicted he could face up to four years in prison.

Taylor denies the charges, but DA Thomas Zugibe said that the young girl told police she has been physically assaulted and verbally threatened.
