Lingerie Basketball is "Dunkadelicious" Hoops on the Hardwood

August 5, 2011- The LBL (Lingerie Basketball League) debuted last weekend. The LBL is no rival to the WNBA (as of yet) but it will have its fair share of viewers at games (men). There is not much to mention when it comes to team uniforms the cute girls play in lingerie.

The LBL will have its own distinctive term for its players. The LBL is "Dunkadelicious" basketball on hardwood.

The Dunkadelicious term was first created in 2006 by Derrick E. Vaughan the creator of the more well-known Dunkadelic terminology when he saw a beautiful girl in Baltimore with delicious tattooed on her lower waist. Vaughan says, "the 6 ft. blond beauty was wearing a tank-top to her belly button. She had on white paints and beige open toed hi-heels. I was drawn to the delicious tattoo on her lower back and said to myself man that's Dunkadelicious."

Dunkadelicious was created to be a cool and hip identity term for the ladies of the hoops and hip-hop culture.

The league is made up of 4 L.A. based teams The Beauties, The Divas, The Glam, and The Starlets http://lingeriebasketball.com/.

There is double-header scheduled for today in Los Angeles 7:30pm - 8:30pm and 9:00pm - 10:00pm.

As a video on the league's website informs us, "America loves basketball, America loves beautiful women. Now a match made in hoops heaven."

The NBA used to market the league as "The NBA is Fantastic". The LBL can market their league "The LBL is Dunkadelicious." I can see a line of ladies t-shirts coming.
