The Lionel Messi goal against Real Madrid came off a corner kick. Messi chested the ball to teammate Gerard Pique at the top of the box and then swerved around a defender. Pique backheeled the ball back to Messi, who beat out Cristiano Ronaldo to tap the ball past Iker Casillas. 

The Lionel Messi goal gave Real Madrid a 2-1 lead in their Supercopa match.

Commentator Ray Hudson went crazy when he saw the Lionel Messi Super Cup goal, saying it was "a goal that would wake up a catatonic."
