Live Updates, Week 15: Cowboys 20, Giants 8, Final
This was a big win for the Cowboys. It should
almost assure them of a playoff slot. With the season
nearly over, this was a big one.
Well, will the end of one panic (Owens vs. Romo) in Dallas lead to another in New York (two straight losses)? Probably not. But the work isn’t over. As we said, the Giants (11-3) will host the Panthers (11-3) next week in a game with major N.F.C. playoff implications. The Cowboys (9-5) end the season with games against Baltimore (Saturday night) and at Philadelphia. Both figure to matter for everyone involved. But at least the Cowboys’ current storm has passed.
In a postgame interview on NBC, Romo credits Owens and Witten for “drumming all this up” to take the pressure off him. Everyone laughs. Wait till Owens gets inside and finds out Witten had five catches to his three.

If soccer teams scored ten points a game I would love it.
