London 2012 Paralympics Opening Ceremony: Where to Watch Live
2012 Paralympics: Watch Live (Unless You're in the USA)
The London 2012 Paralympic Games run from August 29 through September 9. The 2012 Paralympics Opening Ceremony starts at 9pm BST/4pm ET/1pm PT on August 29.
If you thought NBC's Olympic coverage sucked, wait until you hear about their Paralympic coverage. Basically, there won't be any. NBC will only show a short retrospective a week after the London Paralympics are over, with a few other short specials to follow.
- Canada: CTV, TSN, RDS Réseau des Sports and RDS2, Omni Television, Rogers Sportsnet, AMI
- Great Britain: Channel 4, 4More, Ch4 Paralympics 1, BT Live in Trafalgar Square
- Watch Paralympics Online: Channel 4 (You may need a proxy)
- Australia: ABC
- New Zealand: Sky Sport
The Paralympics don't draw the viewing numbers that the Olympics does, but NBC isn't even getting out of bed for this one.
Over 4,000 athletes from 165 countries will be participating, but one guy is already a household name: South African runner Oscar Pistorius will be competing in the London 2012 Paralympics.
