Photos and Results from Olympic Women's Field Hockey: Will Netherlands Prevail?

August 10 sees the final day of Women's Field Hockey action in London. We're bringing you the latest results from the Gold and Bronze Medal matches. Netherlands (yes, the Dutch Women's Field Hockey Team) faces Argentina for Gold, and New Zealand faces Great Britain for Bronze.

London 2012: Women's Field Hockey

Hosts Great Britain pulled off a 3-1 victory over the Kiwis, with all of the scoring taking place in the second half of the second half. Alex Danson, Crista Cullen, and Sarah Thomis lit it up for Britain, while Stacey Michelsen put New Zealand on the board in the final minutes of the game.

The Netherlands-Argentina remained scoreless until the 45th minute, when Carlien Dirkse van den Heuvel put Netherlands on the board. Maarje Paumen followed up in the 54th minute, pulling the game out of Argentina's reach.
