Four LSU Football Players Have Been Implicated in a Bar Fight That Took Place on August 19, 2011
An LSU bar fight has put the spotlight on the school's football program. A fight reportedly broke out at a campus bar on Friday, August 19, 2011. Police are planning to speak with four LSU football players about their possible involvement in a brawl outside Shady's Bar in Baton Rouge.
Four people were injured in the LSU bar brawl including one person who may have been kicked in the head.
Which Players Are Talking To Police About the LSU Bar Fight?
Quarterback Jordan Jefferson, wide receiver Jarvis Landry, offensive tackle Chris Davenport and sophomore Josh Johns have been implicated in the bar fight and will speak to police on Tuesday, August 22, 2011.
What Happened at Shady's Bar?
Police spokesperson Don Stone said in a statement:
"Preliminary investigation information indicates that the fight started after an individual — one of the four injured — blew his horn to move a crowd out of his way in the parking lot. Based on statements given by all persons interviewed, police learned that members of the LSU football team were involved in the fight. The exact number of players present during the fight has not yet been determined."
Who Did The LSU Football Players Allegedly Fight in the Bar Brawl?
Police have not revealed names of the non-football players that may have been involved in the fight.
