Troy Polamalu of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals will be gracing the front covers of the NFL 2010 Madden football game by EA Sports.

It is the first time two players will be featured on the Madden cover, but fittingly, both known for their long hanging hair helmet is facing off once again on the cover similar to last season's Super Bowl matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The shared cover of "Madden NFL 10," which arrives in stores Aug. 14, has something for everyone: Polamalu is a defensive AFC player and Fitzgerald an offensive NFC player.

Many believe being on the cover for Madden 2010 is a jinx known as the Madden Curse. Previous atheletes that was showcased on the Madden cover, Donovan McNabb, Shaun Alexander, and Vince Young all suffered injuries through their "Madden" season hence the Madden Curse. Further acknowledging the curse, Donovan McNabb has been rumored to leave Philadephia, Shaun Alexander is looking for playing time, and Vince Young has been replaced by Kerry Collins in Tennessee.

The highly anticipated release of Madden 2010 is set for August 14.
