Garry Cook Quits after Nedum Onuoha Email

Manchester City boss Garry Cook has resigned in the wake of an email scandal. The scandal began over negotiations with defender Nedum Onuoha, who is represented by his mother, Dr. Anthonia Onuoha.

Dr. Onuoha had written an email explaining that, while she was battling cancer, she would still be representing Nedum. The phrase she used was "ravaged with cancer".

Garry Cook allegedly wrote back, "Ravaged with it!!...I don't know how you sleep at night. You used to be such a nice man when I worked with you at Nike. G".

Anthonia Onuoha went public with the email, and Man City's Board of Directors investigated. Obviously their investigation must have showed that the email was real, as Garry Cook resigned. John MacBeath will serve as acting CEO while the team searches for a full-time replacement for Cook.
