Maradona To Be Hired By Inter Milan

Argentine soccer legend Diego Maradona may have a job with Italy's Inter Milan. The fabled forward--who garnered as much attention for his off-field troubles and he did for his magnificent play on the pitch--is reportedly being offered a post as a special consultant. Maradona is not without front office experience, having coached Argentine sides Racing Club de Avellaneda and Textil Mandiyú as well as serving as a scout for his former team Boca Juniors.

Still, the hire could be considered a gamble considering Maradona's long history of drug problems, not to mention a weight problem that drove him to have stomach surgery.  

Many believe that Inter president Massimo Moratti has ulterior motives for hiring the soccer legend.
