Update Wednesday July 22nd

Mexican Boxer Omar Nazareth Died After Fight With Omar Chavez

Update Monday July 20th.

Marco is still in a coma but there has been a report of a slight improvement. Family friends and fans have bot stopped praying for his recovery.

Update: July  19

Marco Antonio Nazareth has been reported to be in a critical condition at the intensive care unit in a hospital in Vallarta. A report of the evolution of his recovery will be made within 96 hours once the swelling of his brain decreases after a blood clot was surgically removed yesterday night after the fight.

Omar Chavez and his family were at the hospital to ask about Marco Antonio´s condition. Marco´s father does not hold Omar Chavez responsible for his son´s condition.

Omar Chavez, youngest son of  Mexico´s Boxing  Legend won by knock out against Marco Antonio Nazareth born in Texas and living in  Puerto Vallarta. He could not recover from Omar´s last right swing.
Marco Antonio Nazareth ¨El Texano¨was taken to the hospital where he was diagnosed with a brain injury, reason why he underwent surgery last night, there are no news concerning the extent of the injury.
He presented a fierce fight until that final right blow during the fourth episode.
There is sadness and consternation about Marco Antonio´s condition.

I speak life, you're gonna live my brother

I speak life, you are the head and not the tail, you will prevail

Don't give up the fight for your life....you shall live and not die.

God bless this young gentleman and may his recovery and life be placed in God's hands.
