Matt 'Riot' Lowry: Sudden Mysterious Death After Training
Independent wrestler Matt "Riot" Lowry died suddenly after a training session at age 22. The Philadelphia Police are now investigating his mysterious death.
The minor league professional wrestler died after a training session held at the building formerly known as ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pa. on Monday night. While the police report noted that Lowry died after suffering from "severe head injuries," Lowry's trainer claimed that he suffered an aneurysm while training before he stepped ino the ring. An autopsy will be conducted soon to determine Lowry's cause of death.
Lowry had wrestled for several independent groups in the Mid-West, including EWF and AIW but of late had been staying in New Jersey, according to the report.
Matt "Riot" Lowry is a native of MarksVille, Ohio, according to his MySpace page, which features photos and videos of his wrestling matches.
