Matthew Barnaby Domestic Assault: Was Michelle Beadle Involved?

Matthew Barnaby of ESPN Was Charged With Domestic Violent On Friday, May 13, 2011. Police Did Not Confirm If Alleged Girlfriend Michelle Beadle Was Involved

Former NHL player Matthew Barnaby was charged with domestic violence on Friday, May 13, 2011.

The Matthew Barnaby arrest came after police in Amherst, NY responded to a call and found property damage.

The ESPN personality was arrested and charged with second degree criminal contempt, harassment, second degree criminal trespass, and second degree criminal mischief.

Police believe that two female victims may have been involved.

Matthew Barnaby has reportedly been dating popular ESPN reporter Michelle Beadle. While there may be speculation that Beadle was involved in the Matthew Barnaby incident, police have not confirmed the identity of the women involved.

Barnaby appeared to be in the Buffalo area to visit his children from a previous relationship. On May 10, 2011, Barnaby wrote on Twitter that he was going to see his children in Buffalo:

"Going home for 3 days after tomorrow. Father -daughter dance - and watch matty jr play hockey in toronto !! Perfect weekend." 

In the past he wrote this:

"Can anyone tell me why divorces are so expensive?? A wise man told me- because they are worth it!!!!!!"

UPDATE: The Big Lead is reporting that Michelle Beadle was not involved in the Matthew Barnaby domestic assault arrest.
