After announcing a budget cap of £40m eight F1 teams announced about the plans to stage a rival championship. But after talks the agreement was found – there won’t be a new championship.

"There will be one F1 championship but the objective is to get back to the spending levels of the early 90s within two years" – Max Mosley claimed.

But looks like this isn’t the biggest thing in F1 now – Mosley claims he will stand down as FIA president in October.

FIA has also announced 13 teams for the 2010 season, including Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, Vodafpne McLaren Mercedes, BMW Sauber F1 team, Renault F1 team, Panasonic Toyota racing, Scuderia Toro Rosso, Red Bull racing, AT&T Williams, Force India F1 team, Brawn GP Formula one team, Campos Meta team, Manor Grand prix, Team US F1
