Michael Beasley Twitter Photo Shows New Tattoos, Bag of Weed?

Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley shared a photo of himself on Twitpic. The Michael Beasley photo shows off the big man's back tattoo, which features two wings and the words "Supercool Beas" and "God's Son."

What fans are really focusing on in the Michael Beasley Twitter photo is not the tattoos, but the plastic bag sitting on a coffee table in the background. That small plastic baggie looks suspiciously like a bag of marijuana. Of course, the picture is far from conclusive and doesn't seem like the kind of thing that could draw a NBA suspension or a call from the police. After all, there's no proof of what's in the bag or who the bag belongs to.

If anything, the Michael Beasley photo illustrates the risks that athletes face sharing their lives with fans via social media.

Here is the Michael Beasley Twitpic photo.

It is not quite shocking if many of our players do seek professional help whether it is emotional or drug abuse. It just a good thing that these people do realize their weakness and did act to make things right. Michael Beasley, a forward for the Miami Heat has checked himself into rehab. It was announced across several media outlets, and the Michael Beasley Twitter page posted a new photo of him, sporting a new tattoo, and then was deleted. NBA rules make it so that if a player voluntarily enters rehab, they won't have the book thrown at them as harshly as those that test positive and are mandated to get treatment. This isn't Beasley's first instance of trouble, as he was banned from the NBA Rookie Orientation, and fined, rumored to be for drug related reasons. Still, Michael Beasley has made a few million, so he won't be hard up for cash until payday. .
