Michael Bloomberg Sleeping World Series Photo: Was Mayor Asleep?

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg was on hand at Game 1 of the World Series between the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies. Mayor Bloomberg had prime seats behind the plate at the new Yankee Stadium and some eagle-eyed viewers noticed during the Game 1 broadcast that the Bloomberg may not have been too wrapped up in the game. In fact, one Michael Bloomberg World Series photo seems to have caught the Mayor sleeping during the Yankees game.

Of course, he may have just had his head down for a second, perhaps looking at a Blackberry or he could just have been catching a quick nap during the World Series. In his defense, it was the top of the ninth inning when the Michael Bloomberg shot was taken, meaning that it was well after 11:00 pm.
