Gold Medal swimmer, Michael Phelps, was involved in a car accident on the night of Thursday, August 13, in Baltimore at about 9pm. Michael Phelps and 2 passengers in the car Michael Phelps was driving left the car crash unharmed; however, a woman in the other car was sent to the hospital as a safety precaution after the Michael Phelps car crash..

Unfortunately for Michael Phelps, it looks like the Michael Phelps car accident was his fault. Perez Hilton reported that Michael Phelps ran a red light and was speeding at more than 50 miles per hour when Michael Phelp's Cadillac Escalade crashed into a Honda Accord.

Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said that authorities would investigate whether alocohol was involved in the Michael Phelps car accident; however, alcohol did not appear to be a significant factor at the scene of the car crash. Perhaps marijuana, than?

Let's hope he gets banged up for 10 years in jail.

Running a Red light and speeding - what more can say?  Waste of space. I wonder if he has had previous convictions.
