Duke Basketball Coach Mike Krzyzewski: WInningest Coach in Division 1 History
Duke University basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski won his 903rd game, breaking the NCAA record previously held by Bob Knight.
Duke beat Michigan State 74-69 at Madison Square Garden on November 15.

Krzyzewski surpasses Bob "The General" Knight as the winningest NCAA Division 1 coach of all time. Knight coached several teams in his career, most notably Indiana and the 1984 Olympic team.
Bob Knight was Mike Krzyzewski's coach at Army, as well as his mentor; Knight was at the ESPN table when Coach K made history.
Krzyzewski also has one more national title than Knight.
