Mike Leach, Texas Tech Coach Suspended for Mistreatment Complaint

Mike Leach of Texas Tech was suspended before the Alamo Bowl this Sunday against Michigan State. Mike Leach received a complaint from the parents of an unnamed player regarding his treatment by Mike Leach after an undisclosed injury. It is rumored that Leach have "isolated a player in a dark closet for not practicing with a concussion," according to Joe Schad from ESPN.

The team will play without their coach, who have been suspended indefinitely. The defensive coordinator Ruffin McNeil will take over Leach's responsibility on Sunday.

In a statement from Texas Tech:

The school received a complaint from the unnamed player and his parents regarding his treatment by Leach after an undisclosed injury. The school declined further comment because it was considered a personnel matter.
