Mine That Bird, is this year's unlikely winner of the 135th Kentucky Derby, and this horse is truly a surprise, as it has had very few wins in its past.
It was the top two-year-old horse in Canada in 2008, and as a three-year-old, he finished fourth and then in second at Sunland Park in New Mexico.
He was bred in Kentucky and trained by Chip Woolley Jr.
He was almost unbeatable as a two-year-old at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, winning four times in five races. But when he went to the Breeders' Cup Juvenile last fall, Mine That Bird was a dismal 12th.
It appears as if everyone is surprised by this horses' win today.

That race was awesome. He came in at 50 to one. It looked as if he was the only race horse out there in the back stretch.
