On March 8, 2008, the Minisink Valley Army JROTC  gave an excelent drill performence against other high schools such as Exavier of NYC, New York State Military Academy and Christian Brother's Acaedmy.

What is JROTC you might ask? JROTC is a military type program that extends into a cadet's college years.  It teaches disipline, honor, integrity and leadership that they will carry for the rest of their lives. JROTC is based in Army, Navy, Air Force and marines depening on which schol the cadet goes to (the branch varies by school). Some schools even have two or three.

We should all be very proud of the cadets at Minisink valley. After over coming two major death recently (the deaths of Caitlin Hammeren and Richard Cudney) these young people were able to pull themselves to gether and bring home the tropies. Congradulations Minisink! HOOAH!
