MLS Expansion Draft 2009: Complete Philadelphia Union Draft List

Major League Soccer held its 2009 expansion draft for its new team, the Philadelphia Union.

The Philadelphia Union selected 10 out of the 200 or so players that were available in the 2009 MLS Expansion Draft. According to Expansion Draft rules, each MLS team could protect 11 players on their roster. All other players could be selected by the Philadelphia Union in the Expansion Draft.

Brad Knighton (G) New England Revolution

Sebastien Le Toux (F) Seattle Sounders FC

Stefani Miglioranzi (M) L.A. Galaxy

Alejandro Moreno (F) Columbus Crew

Dave Myrie (D) Chicago Fire

Shea Salinas (M) San Jose Earthquakes

Shavar Thomas (D) Chivas USA

Nick Zimmerman (M) New York Red Bull
