Okay, sort of...
The average MotoGP race weekend, (as if anything about it is 'average') embraces consumption of goods and materials on a seven-deadly-sins sort of level. Ducati's satellite racing team, Alice, is making headway on the environmental movement however, by supporting Tony Elias' and Sylvain Guintoli's racing via solar powered generators in the paddoc vehicles.
A solar panel fitted to the Alice Team truck is the central point of the initiative, generating the electricity needed for the everyday running of the garage. This in turn reduces the amount of pollutant energy used and the CO2 emitted on a typical race weekend.
Those in the MotoGP paddock will be able to see the amount of solar energy generated through a display on a specially mounted Alice Team screen.

That's a right movement, I hope they also have some secret plan to build a solar power motorbike... that would be an awesome movement :)
