Mr. Olympia 2009 Results: Jay Cutler Wins Third Title
Jay Cutler won the Mr. Olympia bodybuilding competition for the third time Saturday night. The win marked the third time that Cutler has took home the world's most prestigious bodybuilding title. Cutler, not to confused with Chicago Bears quarterback of the same name, beat out second place Branch Warren and last year's Mr. Olympia Dexter Jackson, who place in third.
Jay joins a pantheon of bodybuilders who have won Mr. Olympia multiple times that includes Lee Haney (eight times), Ronnie Coleman (eight), Dorian Yates (six), and a certain California governor named Arnold Schwarzenegger (seven).
Not surprsingly, Cutler works insanely hard on his chiselled, 5'9", 270-pound physique. Cutler eats 6,500-calories a day, yet none of those calories come from red meat or chicken. Instead, Cutler eats five pounds of fish daily.
Here are full 2009 Mr. Olympia results.

Oh snap! Dexter Jackson took a backseat this year to the now 4 time winner, Jay Cutler! While I say Jay worked really hard to achieve the results that he has thus far accomplished, I must say that I'm a tad bit disappointed at the turn out of Keisuke Yoshida and Dennis Wolf... Other than that it appears that the turn out of Mr. O '09 kept a strong front from start till finish. Honestly I had the intention of attending primarily to meet UFC/MMA idols, hit the 202 spectators and finally for the Bikini Model Search ;-) Well peace.

Jay Cutler came to the Utah NPC Event, Sat. 10/10. He looked tremendous! He spent several hours taking pictures and talking with fans. I was really impressed with how gracious and accomodating he was! He is a fantastic representative for the sport. We all hear about the egos of the top bodybuilders, and so I spent some time observing how he inter-acted with fans. Not only did he treat me well, but I never saw even a hint of impatience or disrepect all night long. His guest-posing was fantastic! He came down into the crowd and made the night at the contest a lifelong memory for everybody there. And after he spoke to the audience, he went back out into the foyer and took more photos with the fans. Heather Armbrust, 2nd in the Miss Olympia this year, also did a gueat-posing, and she was tremendous, not only in her posing, but in her inter-actions with the fans. She was as gracious and kind to the fans as Jay. Both of them deserve a huge thanks from the fans that were present, and I'm sure they helped advance the sport in our area by their appearance and attitudes. Giant kudos to both of them!

I completely agree with what you wrote about Jay as a representative for the sport. I had the chance to meet Jay in an empty Phoenix airport in march of 2008. I had just returned from a deployment to Iraq and had followed him while I was there. We were walking toward each other and as I approached him I said "Jay." He replied with "hey" like he knew me. He was extremely gracious and signed a spring training baseball ticket that I had in my pocket. He even thanked me for my service and chatted with me for a couple minutes. Unfortunately I was already running a little late so I had to go, so we shook hands and went on our way. He was in spectacular shape for it being his off season. I'm glad that he won his third title this year, he is great champion.

Just to clarify some of the comments and a post inaccuracy. This is Jay's 3rd Mr. O. And Jay does eat read meat and chicken in abundance. Check out the Sept. 2009 issue of Flex there is an article taking you through Mr. O's, daily eating routine and red meat surely being eaten as well as fish, chicken and other protein sources.
