Michigan State football players Glenn Winston and Roderick Jenrette have been dismissed from the team for undisclosed reasons. While the team has yet to say why the MSU players were kicked off the team, many are wondering if the their dismissal is connected to an attack that took place at MSU's Rather Hall on Sunday

Glenn Winston has had brushes with the law in the past, having served about four months in jail after being convicted of assaulting MSU hockey player A.J. Sturges in 2008.

They weren't suspended.  They are done.  Finished.  Off the team, and good riddance.  Dantonio stuck his neck out for these kids - both of whom have been in trouble before - and this is how they repaid him.  A couple of likely candidates for lifers or worse.

Wonder about the fight that injured the hockey player and the residence hall fight. What are the races of the assailants? The victims?  Not  hate crimes were they? Or were there no magic words uttered that caused the hate crimes rubber ducky to drop from the ceiling?

The attack in Rather Hall was reported to have been on members of a historically black fraternity.  I don't think it's a racially motivated assault.
