VANCOUVER — A lowly corner of Vancouver's Downtown Eastside was touched by greatness Thursday night when boxing giant Muhammad Ali made an appearance at a special screening of the documentary film Facing Ali.
A private reception before the screening, held at the exclusive Cinema 319 on Main Street, was attended by some 70 guests who paid $3,000 each for the opportunity to meet Ali and have a photograph taken with him.

He amazed me. I couldn't get the self-promotion thing until I was older.
Hey, I once passed him on the street.

Yeah, but c'mon I wouldn't pay $3,000 to see Muhammad Ali. He's not even fighting in a ring.
