Teenage Girl Releases Nude Photos of Saints: "It's About Revenge"

An unnamed teenage girl, who says she was disrespected by members of the St. Kilda Football Club, released a series of naked photos of the star players on her Facebook page. Once the AFL lobbied Facebook to take the photos down, the photos reappeared on Twitter. The naked Saints photos have since gone viral.

The nude pics include photos of Nick Riewoldt and Nick Dal Santo, and appeared on Facebook with the message "Merry Christmas courtesy of the St. Kilda schoolgirl".

Apparently the girl, when she was a 17-year-old student, became pregnant after having sex with a St. Kilda player, and the baby was stillborn. The "St. Kilda schoolgirl" is not saying that she slept with either Nick Riewoldt or Nick Dal Santo, but posted the photos as an act of revenge.

The teenager claims to have taken the photos herself, but the player involved allege that the nude pics were stolen from one of the players' laptops.

The AFL confirms that the Saints had met the girl, and she later stated that she slept with a police officer while the original sexual misconduct charge was investigated; the charge was dismissed. The officer in question was assigned to a different case.

The club was rocked yesterday when the 17-year-old girl published the explicit photographs of Riewoldt and fellow Saint Nick Dal Santo on her Facebook account, and today vowed to release more images, saying: "Who's going to stop me?"

Saints captain Nick Riewoldt, who said he had never met the girl who released naked pics of him and his teammates, released a statement during a press conference:

"That a person I have no association with has sought to impugn me is a cause of great distress to myself, my girlfriend, my family and my friends.

"I have worked incredibly hard in my profession, and across the community in general to build a standing of which I am most proud.

Nixon said he did not know when Dal Santo would respond publicly, while Dawson's manager Marty Pask declined to comment.

So why are none of the news outlets saying that one of the pictures is of a player with a dog (ie. "an explicit sexual act" that they refer to). Sure THAT's worth a mention.
